Favourite Music in High School

I saw this on another blog and decided to put it here. Here are the instructions:

1. Go to http://www.musicoutfitters.com
2. Plug the year you graduated high school into the search engine at the top left of the page
3. Copy all of the songs from the Top 100 list.
4. Bold the ones you actually like.
5. Italicize the ones you never heard of (or don't remember)
6. Slap it in your LJ or Blog

I also added the UK Top 50 from the same year for added flavour. (I found it through a google search.) I could not find a Canadian list but I did find a list from my favourite radio station at the time.

This is so much fun! What a great trip down memory lane; so many songs I had forgotten. (and sadly, many I never knew.)

I still have most of these songs on my computer... is that sad? It means that I bought them twice anyway.

Whats sad is during this time I didn't listen to much current radio stations. The radio dial was controlled by my parents so it was mostly 70s rock. I could tell you lyrics to a few Boston, Styx, Journey, 3 Dog Night, and Chicago songs. Though I must admit I do know a few of those songs NOW because they're played during the "80's flashback" hour...

This is too cool. I'm about to do it and post on my blog.

You obviously graduated long before I did, yet I know most of the music. I have so many memories that just came flooding back just by reading the song titles. Good times.
